Volunteering at Cults Library Trust

Are you looking to give back to your community, develop new skills, or be part of something meaningful? The Cults Library Trust is supported by a fantastic team of local volunteers—and we’re currently looking for new team members to join us!

We have several exciting volunteer opportunities available:

📚 Education Team

Help us develop and deliver inspiring educational activities for all ages—from early years to older learners. We're looking for creative, enthusiastic people to support events, workshops, school visits, and more.

Ideal for: Teachers (current or retired), students, creatives, or anyone passionate about learning.

💰 Fundraising Team

Join our energetic fundraising team to help dream up, plan, and run events and campaigns that raise vital funds for the library’s reopening and development.

Ideal for: Event planners, marketers, social butterflies, and anyone who loves getting people together for a good cause.

🔨 Trades Team

We’re building a small team of practical volunteers who can help with the redevelopment of the library site from light renovation, repairs, construction and DIY projects around the library site.

Ideal for: Handy individuals, current or retired tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts.

🗂️ Administration Team

Support the smooth running of our operations - whether it's helping with communications, minute-taking, volunteer coordination, or general admin support.

Ideal for: Organised individuals, people with office or admin experience, or anyone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work.
